Organising your own event for us

Have you thought about organising your own event in aid of us?

Peace Hospice Outpatient Care Whether you are planning to take part in a walk, organising a coffee morning or concert, arranging a long cycle or running a marathon, organising a golf day or a Gala Ball, organising a race or a quiz night - we can provide support and help you to promote your event through our press releases, shops and website!

Why not view all the exciting challenges that can be undertaken in support of the Peace Hospice

If you are organising or entering an event we can supply you with a Hospice sponsorship form or you can set up an online sponsorship page through either BT MyDonate, Virgin Money Giving or Just Giving - our preferred choice is BT MyDonate, as a larger percentage of the money comes to us. You can then easily email to all your friends and family the link and start collecting on behalf of us.

For a Hospice sponsorship form please contact our events team on 01923 330340 or email fundraising@peacehospice.org.uk

Set up your own local Support Group

Peace Hospice Outpatient CareSupport Groups play a very important part in fundraising for the Peace Hospice.
Currently we have 6 support groups:
  • Cassiobury
  • Chorleywood & Rickmansworth
  • Irish & Holyrood
  • Radlett
  • Sunday Club
  • Shenley Friends
who work tirelessly to raise money for the Hospice by putting on their own events. The list is endless but include, quiz nights, bridge events, musical evenings, dances, open gardens, strawberry teas, barn dance, art exhibitions to name but a few!
In addition to their fund raising activities the groups are the face of the Hospice in their local communities often attending local fete’s and school fairs raising awareness of their group and the work of the Peace Hospice.
Currently we are actively seeking new recruits for other groups in Croxley Green, Borehamwood, Potters Bar and Bushey.

If you are interested in setting up a new group please call Gill Crowson on 01923 335370 or email gcrowson@peacehospice.org.uk

Friends and Young Friends of the Peace Hospice are invaluable groups of supporters who work alongside the fundraising team to help them achieve more than £3 million that needs to be raised every year.

Anyone can become "a friend". There are many ways in which you can represent the Hospice in your community. By inviting you to become "a friend" we are asking you to give time not money, as little or as much as you wish. No experience is necessary as training will be given.

If you are interested in becoming "a friend" view our information leaflets: Friends / Young Friends

or call Gill Crowson on 01923 335370 or email gcrowson@peacehospice.org.uk

Did you know that setting up your own Fundraising page is the quickest and easiest way to fundraise and donate to charity online?

Home Collection Boxes

Home Collecting Boxes are a fun and easy way to collect money for The Peace Hospice. Designed to look like the Hospice entrance they sit on dressing tables, coffee tables and cupboards just waiting for all your loose change – and because it is money from individuals we can gift aid the donation if you are a UK taxpayer.

We are also looking to recruit supporters to help us manage the home box scheme.

If you would like a box or have a few hours to spare contact Gill Crowson on 01923 335370 or email gcrowson@peacehospice.org.uk
