Remembering the Peace Hospice with a gift in your Will
The Peace Hospice owes its creation and continued existence to the generosity of the public. Without
donations this Hospice simply would not exist.
Ongoing support is vital to ensure we can continue to provide free specialist medical, emotional and spiritual care to people living with life threatening illness, and give emotional and practical support to their families and carers.
Since it started in 1991 the Peace Hospice has helped thousands of families. To enable us continue providing vital support into the future, the Peace Hospice depends on the generosity of local supporters with donations and legacies.
Any gift left to us in your Will is vitally important - enabling us to be there for patients and families when they are at their most vulnerable as they adjust to life under changed circumstances.
Having a professionally prepared and up-to-date Will is the only way of ensuring that your loved ones and favourite charities can benefit following your death, and that your wishes are carried out.
Planning and writing your Will need not be complicated - and our dedicated Legacy Fundraising Manager, can help you with advice and information.
Gifts to the Peace Hospice in your Will are exempt from Inheritance Tax, and you can leave a share of your estate, a fixed sum or specific items.
To help you get your Will written, a selection of local Will Providers are offering a range of reduced-fee Wills to Peace Hospice supporters.
You can download the list here.
Why not take advantage of our Will Fortnight where selected local solicitors will be cancelling their fee in return for a donation to the Peace Hospice.
We have produced an information sheet with suggested wording for a legacy gift which you may find useful and which can be downloaded here.
